2022 State Veteran Teams Announcement

Announcement of the selection of the South Australian State Veterans Teams to compete at the Australian Veterans Table Tennis Championships to be held in Darwin in October 2022.

State & National Umpire Courses Coming Up

State & National Umpire Courses have been planned for the 14th August 2022. The online components of these courses will begin on the 1st August, 2022 for two to three weeks. Therefore, registration for these courses will close on the 29th of July, 2022. This is the first time that these courses have been held online so if interested please register before the 29th July, 2022.

2022 National Championships-Highlights

The 2022 National Championships were successfully held at the Caloundra Indoor Stadium, Sunshine Coast, from 3-10 July. Well done to the players, coaches, team managers and parents who participated and helped to make the Championships a success.

2022 Commonwealth Games Qualification - This Weekend (14-15 May)

Come and watch some of the best players in Australia. The Australian Qualification Tournament for the 2022 Commonwealth Games will be held in Adelaide at the Houghton Table Tennis Club on 14-15 May. The event will determine the final team positions (able-bodied) in the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team.

State Team Announcement 2022

In accordance with the State Team Regulation, and performances throughout the year TTSA has selected State Teams to compete at the 2022 Australian Table Tennis Championships. This event will held from 3 -10 July 2022 at the Caloundra Indoor Stadium, Sunshine Coast.

City of Onkaparinga Veteran's Tournament

Reminder that entry for the City of Onkaparinga Veterans Tournament is open. Entries may be made online via this website or by return of a completed entry form via email. Please note that this veteran's tournament includes O/30 & O/40 events.

TTA Equipment & Facilities Grant - Opens 25th April 2022

The TTA Equipment and Facilities Grant Program is back for 2022 and opens on Monday the 25th April 2022. TTA encourages all affiliated clubs and associations to consider applying for the latest round of grant funding. Applications close 5:00 pm 23rd May 2022.

A TOPS Table Tennis Coaching course will be held at the East Adelaide Table Tennis Club on Saturday, 2nd April 2022. The course will be presented by Kay Crowell (TTSA Coaching Director)

2021 TTA Membership & Participation Census

Table Tennis Australia (TTA) thanks all those Clubs & Associations who contributed to the national participation and membership census throughout 2021. TTA is pleased to announce that membership numbers are back to pre-COVID-19 levels and participation is fast approaching pre-COVID-19 levels.

Change to TTSA Tournament Structures

At the end of each year TTSA reviews the conduct of tournaments held. Changes have been made for 2022 as a result of a Survey Monkey survey that was sent to players across all cohorts and consideration of survey results & experience of 2021 tournaments by a Tournament Committee made up of Club representatives.
