Level 1 Table Tennis Coaching Course
The course will be held at the East Adelaide Table Tennis Club (Stradbroke Road, Newton) commencing at 9.30am and concluding at approximately 4.30 pm on both days.

On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May 2021, a Level 1 Table Tennis Coaching Course will be conducted by Kay Crowell (TTSA Director Coaching).  TTSA affiliates are encouraged to promote this course to their current TOPS accredited coaches.  The course will cost all participants $250.00 to cover TTA course documentation, administration, and refreshments for the day.
Participants are to bring their own lunch on both days of the course.
The course will be held at the East Adelaide Table Tennis Club (Stradbroke Road, Newton) commencing at 9:30am and concluding at approximately 4:30pm on both days.  The agenda of the course will include:
Competency in all 5 Assessment Tools;
  • Tool 1- Coaching Principles - Pre or In Course or Post Course Assessment
  • Tool 2 - Session Planning - Post Course Assessment
  • Tool 3 - Practical Coaching - Sessions - Post Course Assessment
  • Tool 4 - Practical Coaching - Skill Techniques & Multiball - Post Course Assessment
  • Tool 5 - Written Exam - In Course Assessment
Coaching practise completed;
  • 10 hours supervised by an Accredited Level 2 or 3 Coach & documented
  • 20 hours additional coaching documented

A pre-requisite for attending the course is that participants have already achieved all elements associated with TOPS accreditation. Participants will be expected to have already completed the online modules;
