Published Wed 12 Feb 2025
Dear TTSA Clubs, Affiliates and Members.
On behalf of Table Tennis South Australia (TTSA), I am pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Doldo as our new Performance Pathway and Development Head Coach. Anthony brings a wealth of experience and expertise in Table Tennis coaching and athlete development, making him an ideal fit to drive our performance pathway initiatives forward.
TTSA has been seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to fill this pivotal role. Reporting to the TTSA Board and working closely with TTSA’s High-Performance Director, Anthony will play a key role in ensuring TTSA meets its performance pathway coaching goals and objectives. His appointment aligns with our strategic aims outlined in the TTSA Pathway Plan and the key deliverables of the SA pathway grant, aiming to establish a sustainable Daily Training Environment for athletes, coaches, and administrators across South Australia.
In his role, Anthony will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive performance pathway coaching plan that aligns with the TTSA Player Development Pathway. His key areas of focus will include:
- State High/Development Squads.
- Schools-based Coaching Initiatives.
- Club Coach and pathway Development Programs.
- Performance Pathway Development Strategies.
- Coordination and Conducting of Training Camps in collaboration with TTA.
This is an exciting step forward for Table Tennis in South Australia, and we are confident that Anthony's leadership will contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of our athletes and programs. His ability to maximise resources and engage with key stakeholders, including players, parents, coaches, and national performance teams, will be invaluable in achieving our long-term development goals.
We look forward to working closely with Anthony and encourage all clubs and affiliates to support him in his new role as we continue to strengthen our performance pathway initiatives. Anthony will reach out directly in due course to introduce himself.
Please join me in welcoming Anthony Doldo to TTSA.
Best regards,
On behalf of the Board
Paul Langley OLY GAICD
President, Table Tennis South Australia
